By accessing or using SyncFamily ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including family members, administrators, and visitors to our website.
2. Description of Service
SyncFamily is a family management platform that enables families to:
- Store and organize family documents and files
- Track and monitor health readings and medical information
- Manage tasks and reminders across family members
- Communicate via WhatsApp integration
- Share information securely within family groups
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To use SyncFamily, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- All activities that occur under your account
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring that family members you invite have consented to join
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Upload, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harmful content
5. Family Data and Privacy
5.1 Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload or create in SyncFamily. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
5.2 Family Sharing
When you share information with family members:
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share such information
- Shared family members can access and view shared data
- Family administrators have additional permissions to manage family settings
- You can remove family members or leave a family at any time
5.3 Data Protection
We implement security measures to protect your data, but you acknowledge that no system is completely secure. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- Only sharing access with trusted family members
- Not sharing sensitive information if you have concerns about family member access
6. WhatsApp Integration
Our Service integrates with WhatsApp Business API. By using our WhatsApp features:
- You agree to comply with WhatsApp's Terms of Service and Business Policy
- You consent to receiving messages and notifications via WhatsApp
- You understand that WhatsApp messages are processed through WhatsApp's infrastructure
- You acknowledge that WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption applies to messages sent through our Service
- You can opt-out of WhatsApp notifications in your account settings
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by SyncFamily and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not:

8. Payment and Subscription
Currently, SyncFamily may be offered as a free service or with subscription plans. If we introduce paid features:
- You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
- Your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled
9. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- That the Service will meet all your requirements
- That defects will be corrected immediately
We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service, and we will provide notice when possible.
10. Termination
10.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the Service settings. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will be immediately suspended
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days (unless required to be retained by law)
- You remain responsible for any charges incurred before termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security of data transmission or storage
We are not a medical service. Health readings and medical information stored in SyncFamily are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYNCFAMILY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you used the free service).
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SyncFamily, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Content you upload or share through the Service
